Title page of the master’s thesis

At the beginning of each work there should be a title page that informs about the subject, author or promoter, for example. The title page of the master’s thesis should be done correctly, which the promoter will certainly pay attention to.

Most universities specify individual requirements for the creation of title pages – size and type of font, content layout, formatting, etc. If you have not received such guidelines, we present a ready template of the title page, used in most universities (with small differences). In some universities, a different formula is proposed for bachelor’s and another for the master’s thesis.

  • Title page of the master’s thesis – a pattern

  • Department name below (centered, capital letters, bold, Times New Roman font, size 14)

  • 5-6 lines of space
  • Type of work – Master’s thesis (centered, in capital letters, bold, Times New Roman font, size 12)

  • Title page – tips
  • Remember that the title page should fit on one page. There should not be a page number on it (the work is numbered from the table of contents). When creating a website, follow the university guidelines. Pay attention to the type and size of the font, as well as the distribution of the content. Some guidelines specify that the text should only be in capital letters, other that small or mixed.

If you have a problem with adapting the title page to your work, and the promoter has not given you any suggestions, we will be happy to help.
